Accessible tourism is becoming an increasingly vital aspect of modern society, aiming to ensure equal opportunities for all. The “Odmori OSI” project is dedicated to making tourism more inclusive for people with disabilities.
The project will host two conferences to educate the public and industry professionals about the needs and rights of people with disabilities in tourism. Additionally, training sessions will be held for private accommodation providers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to adapt their facilities to accommodate guests with disabilities. Through a mix of lectures, panel discussions, and shared experiences, the project aims to foster a dialogue and knowledge exchange that drives accessible tourism forward.
By educating tourism professionals, the project ensures a well-trained and competent workforce that can deliver high-quality, accessible services. This will not only benefit people with disabilities but also raise awareness among key stakeholders about the importance of accessible tourism.
The project is led in partnership with Liberato Association, the City of Supetar, and the Association of Cities. The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Croatia.
