“Support for Independence – Phase 3” project under the European Social Fund (ESF) Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014–2020. This 20-month project received a total grant of 1,994,735.18 HRK from the ESF. It was a continuation of SUMSI’s successful collaboration with the Association “Zamisli” and continued its active support for end users. It provided personal assistance services to improve the social inclusion and quality of life for 13 individuals with severe physical, intellectual, or mental disabilities. The project was also focused on enhancing the overall personal assistance system by offering training for both users and assistants.

”Personal Assistant – Support for Independence”: This separate ESF project as part of the ESF Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014–2020, running for 24 months, provided assistance to 14 individuals with disabilities with a total grant of 1,998,472.25 HRK. Partnering with the “Zamisli” association and the Croatian Association of Paraplegics and Tetraplegics, the project aimed to prevent institutionalisation, promote independent living, and help users manage their time effectively.
