Building upon the three-year “Together through challenges” programme (1 June 2020 – 31 May 2023), this initiative aims to educate employers and people with disabilities about their rights, advantages, and challenges in employment.
Key activities include:
- Assessing labour market needs and opportunities, with a focus on the post-pandemic landscape.
- Updating and publishing a brochure with information on engaging with people with disabilities.
- Conducting workshops for employers, individuals with disabilities, and other stakeholders.
- Providing systematic support for individuals with disabilities in the workforce, as well as for businesses.
- Hosting two roundtable discussions on the topic of (self-)employment for people with disabilities.

This three-year programme is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family, and Social Policy.
The programme aims to inform and motivate people with disabilities and employers, increase (self) employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and reduce the number of employers currently paying financial penalties for not meeting their quota of employees with disabilities.
